Crochet Inspiration!

So I happened upon a crochet blog called Tangled Happy the other day that I’m only bummed I didn’t know about sooner. It is full of really cool crochet inspiration and patterns that are so up my alley; I’ve already made three projects that I’m really happy with and have spied several more that I want to try. Plus, one of my own little projects is linked there as well, which is really exciting. Here are some photos of my three finished projects, all inspired via the Tangled Happy blog:

First, this really cute necklace from Creative Yarn was so quick and easy to make. I made up my own flower for it though. I really like it. Now that I’ve worn it a few times, I just need to weigh down the clasp a little so the flower will stop falling to the center of my throat and stay askew like it’s supposed to.

Second, I could not resist making one of these little guys from Lola Nova since the girls and I have a ton of plastic bangles laying around.

I don’t know what I’ll do with it just yet, but right now it’s keeping my little jar of tiny yarn ball bits cozy.

Third, I love how this little pillow from Attic24 came out and it was super fun to make.

I added an antique faceted glass button to the center.

I can see this pillow being addictive. Every member of the family may need one on their bed…gifts???…maybe???…

Here’s the back…

Carl is afraid of it…

I didn’t have to buy anything for any of these projects (yes, I even had a small, round pillow form on hand) which made me even happier to see them completed – yay! Anyway, I love having found such a pretty little site dedicated to crochet (knitting scares me…). You should go there, and crochet something…!
