This is the easiest bag ever to make. It’s pretty much my first REAL bag that I’ve made that I can actually use. It’s wonderful and I love it. I had a pretty good idea of how I wanted to make it, but since I don’t use patterns generally (never sewing patterns), it was still trial and error the whole way through. It only took about an hour though and I used it for knitting the next day. It’s huge because I just went for it and didn’t really think about size. I had half a yard of awesome butterfly fabric and I used it all. I also added some thick black felt between it and the lining for extra body so it feels very sturdy. I am going to duplicate this bag many, many times, and the next time I’ll attempt to make a tutorial out of it because I think everyone needs to make this bag.
