So, it only took me three days to break my promise…oops. I made a hat out of necessity but that’s a whole different story that I will tell later…stay tuned.

Anywho, I’m back to the grindstone and here are a few more little things I finished (in addition to a mended kangaroo stuffed animal and an altered bathing suit for a five-year-old girl I know who loves bathing suits).

..finished putting elastic in the pajama pants that mimi made for the girls…

…put a couple final buttons on this little Easter bag I made last year…

oh, and I put elastic wastebands in the funny little pants that Dave brought back for the girls (apparently they don’t have elastic in Afghanistan)

…and my favorite thing today – a little drawstring bag that I fashioned out of a felt pouch that H made for me and while ago (but I had broken the zipper and it was beyond repair – boo)…so I removed the zipper and was able to keep all the felty goodness that she fashioned for me originally. I just added the double lining and lace drawstring…
