This is my inspiration for O’s 2nd birthday coming up in July. Monsters! I’m pretty excited because I have some fun ideas brewing that involve girl monsters. I’m not sure what I’ll do with these guys yet, but they were too cute to pass up at the store. I’m also excited about the monster theme because R pronounces “monster”, “monsturd”, which I think is hilarious.

My friend Kristen has had two little birthdays over the last couple of months and I am also planning to “borrow” some of her great ideas…banner, t-shirt favors, cute cupcakes… Of course, I say all that now, but it may turn out to be all store bought, birthday-in-a-box at the last minute. I’m hoping not though… – let the planning begin! Well, who am I kidding? It actually began a few months ago. I pretty much start planning the next birthday as we’re cleaning up the last. It’s the execution that gets me sometimes…
